IT'S BEEN A JOURNEY...

...all the way back to California where the palm trees welcomed us home.

And oh, the flood of emotions as we crossed that state line.

There was peace.

And it had been a journey...

We enjoyed watching the landscape change across the United States.

(Including a snow storm in New Mexico!)

We praised the Lord for safe travels and our special time together with family and friends in Texas...

And New Mexico.

We made time capsule memories at the Petrified Forest...

And the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Lily had the time of her life!

Silas put up with his bag...

After the cross country trek and when we finally made it to our resting place, we thanked the Lord for His

amazing grace along the way. I don't think the trip could have gone any better...which was simply grace.

The sunset greeted us and the dawn of the next day

reassured us of His mercies which are new every morning.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness.

'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul,

'therefore I will hope in him.'

The Lord is good to those who wait for him,

to the soul who seeks him."

Lamentations 3:22-25

And we realize more than ever that we are Heaven people.

That's our real Home and until then, we find ourselves sojourners here,
willing to follow our Shepherd wherever He leads, wherever He wants us to be.

He gently leads and we hear His voice and walk closely after Him, releasing our plans along the journey.

Often.

We've seen time and again that the Lord requires us to offer up our plans for His
repeatedly as we go and the steps of life are His to orchestrate. The purposes are His.

The Lord is faithful! He is our Provider. He is a loving Father we can trust.

And it's been a journey...with Him.

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
