LOVE MONTH & HEART-BEET PANCAKES

We've been focusing on God's LOVE this Love Month thus far and for Valentine's Day, 

we set out upon our traditional heart shaped pink pancakes with a new favorite idea...

{HEART-BEET PANCAKES}

First, the beet juice...

...which was just a beet blended with some water.

Loving that COLOR!

And loving that this recipe is really just as simple as replacing beet juice for some of the usual liquid.

Adding more golden flax...

Griddle time...

It was an especially sweet Valentine's Day full of laughter, love, and heart-beet pancakes.

(So blessed to be his Valentine.)

Daddy's tradition...roses for Mommy and roses for his girls.

We finished the day with our traditional heart shaped pizzas.

I love traditions and how they knit our hearts together...

PRIMAL PASTURES

Yesterday we visited a local farm seeking vision and inspiration.

We gained both.

The kids loved all the animals...raised exclusively on pasture...and protected by these gentle guardians...

Willow's favorite was the baby chicks.

Thanks to India answering a "give away" question, we left with some delicious wildflower honey,
and our minds full of ideas for the future...

It was a great day at Primal Pastures.
