LANTERNS

This week, we had the beautiful experience of releasing paper lanterns out over the ocean with our neighbors!

One by one we watched them light up the night!

It was definitely an experience we'll never forget!

UPDATE - BEA & BECK

2 monitors. 2 hearts. 2 souls I love and fight for.

My Bea and Beck have continued to remain stable since their heart surgeries. A recent monitored check up showed that Beck's heart is still about the same...in need of medication to regulate and that's ok. We're thankful for insurance! Bea will have another cath next week to see how her heart is doing these days (about a year and a half post surgery) and to see what, if any, medications she can wean off of. We're hopeful for her. We trust the Lord's plans for both Bea and Beck with all our hearts. And we're thankful for these 2. Can't imagine life without them and their special hearts!

LOVE MONTH

It's been a special Love Month as always...filled with traditions that knit hearts to home.

In February we focus on what LOVE is, the love of God, and how we can show His love to others.

(valentines and too many goodies on the 14th)

Elka made a massive amount of pizza dough this year!

So our traditional heart shaped pizzas...

...were deep dish!

I'm so thankful for how we all grow in our understanding of God's amazing love during this time of really saturating in the Word and striving to apply it to our lives. I hope these memories we make and the love we experience carry on for generations to come.
