and look at you all grown up taking care of him now and such a wonderful young man!
Brodie, you are an amazing best friend and I feel so blessed to get to do life with you!
You're a God-fearing guy, moral, musical, multi-talented, protective, intuitive, loyal, brave.
Not to mention a serious chocolate connoisseur!
And dedicated dog lover!
You have so many different interests and excel at them all.
Whatever you set your mind to do, you do it well!

There are so many exceptional qualities that define you and you've been gifted by God in so many ways that most only dream of. He has greatly blessed you with talent, skill, courage, and wisdom and I love seeing you get to use your gifts for His glory!
Today you turn 18. You're no longer a child. You're a man and I have seen you grow in maturity beyond your years in many ways, while still balancing being present right where you're at today. I'm so thankful that I get to share in this season of life with you as you transition into adulthood and I love being your mom.
18...It's been a big year!
You graduated high school! It's been so cool to see you have your first real job and enjoy that so much! I have loved watching you serve at church with your musical gifts in worship. You've sold your first litter of puppies and are set for the next. You've invested in future entrepreneurial endeavors and worked hard to get your drone pilot's license. You've grown as a communicator by leaps and bounds. It's been amazing to me to see your convictions grow this year. You've shown compassion to those who've wronged you and others and courage to speak up for truth. You care deeply for the underdog and protect the vulnerable. You've become even more aware of your identity in Christ as you navigate a secular culture and abrasive world. You've stood strong, set apart. You know who you are. And even more importantly, you know who Jesus is and you live for Him. There is no greater joy as your mom to witness you choosing to live your life for His glory and I'm so so proud of you!!
