KITTENS!
It feels like just yesterday we were moving in and welcoming Olia and Nova's new kittens.
And now here we are almost a year later and they have had their own first litters.
Although we had been waiting for them, they were quite the surprise when Elka found them in the barn!
"A desire fulfilled is a tree of life."

SACRED EASTER
From the preparations made on Good Friday to commemorate what Jesus did for us all...
On the cross.
"But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5
To the glorious sunrise that followed, reminding us of His victory over sin and death!
"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 15:56-57
This sacred Easter weekend, we had much to celebrate...
And we did.
Praise the Lord!
He is Risen!
Jesus is our peace.
"For He Himself is our peace."
Ephesians 2:14

MORE SPRING CLEANING
We're still cleaning up from the snow that took it's toll on our trees after Christmas.
It's not been a small job!
So in between rainy days, we've had family projects cutting/moving brush and branches as a team.
They say, "Many hands make light work," ...and it's so true!
Just one of the many reasons I love living up here on our mountain...
getting to see my children learn the ethic of work.
And of course, there is always time for play.
And to search for ladybugs whenever we find aphids on trees.
And then rest.
"Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord."
Colossians 3:23
