LESSONS & TROUT

God has been providing for us in unusual ways lately (think George Muller experiment).

Among other examples I could note, we've been eating lots of fresh trout this week! So delicious and so fun!

Thank you, Lord, for teaching us new lessons about how you always provide.

How blessed we are to depend upon such a good Father.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

DATE WITH DAD

The girls had a special engagement to attend and he had a date with Dad.

They had pizza, walked the pier, discussed the Word, and shared their hearts.

He's 14 now...becoming a man...and extremely blessed to be learning and growing alongside Dad.

"Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation."

28 DAYS OF HEARTS

It's that time of year again over at 28 DAYS OF HEARTS, where the stories of Chinese children living with CHD are told and heard, where the least of these are advocated for, and above all else, where God is glorified for His workmanship. Praise Him!

Brodie shared on the blog last year and has shared some more of our story there again today. I'm grateful to have a husband who's heart breaks for what breaks the heart of our compassionate Lord's and I'm thankful for his willingness to follow Jesus into the unknown for His name's sake and because of His great LOVE. I'll let him share the rest here:
