There's another teenager in the house...
...a young man I used to rock to sleep.
But he's almost as tall as me now. His shoes are bigger than mine. He holds my hand,
wraps an arm around my shoulder, opens the door for me. And, though it's odd, it feels...right.
He takes care of the guy-stuff and leads us in prayer when his dad works. He studies the Word and trusts the Lord.
His music inspires. He's growing up before my eyes. And suddenly I can see the fine young man he's becoming.

Brodie, you've matured by leaps and bounds this past year! I prayerfully await even more of God's workmanship. To see the fruitful harvest in your life as He tills the soil of your heart, the soil we've been cultivating, brings great joy to say the least! In fact, there is no greater joy than to know that you're walking in the Truth, that you know Jesus. His humility and gentleness shine in you.
