DATE WITH DAD
Last night, Aida's doting daddy took her out on a date....just because....and as I
watched them walk away I couldn't believe how grown up my little girl has become.
She has blossomed before my eyes into an extraordinary young woman.
Who we are very proud of and blessed to share our lives with!
These two...
They shared their hearts over seafood and sunset.
And we pray that our daughter felt as special as she is.
Aida, you're a precious gift from the Lord and we love sharing this season of your life with you as you walk into adulthood. It's a privilege to know you and grow together with you. You have so much to offer and you faithfully do. The Lord has blessed you with many gifts and He expresses that through you daily. Your calm assurance in His sovereignty reminds me often of the faithfulness of God. He has given you an unwavering confidence in Him. It's challenging, convicting, and encouraging!
May your faith in Him grow only stronger with each day!
"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw
near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Hebrews 11:6
Aida, your mama and your daddy love you SO much!!
And your Father God loves you even more than that!!
He is faithful!
"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1

BEA & BECK - 4 YEARS
(LAX airport homecoming, 2014)
4 years ago, Bea and Beck were officially ours.
(China, 2014)
"God places the lonely in families."

He makes them sons and daughters.

Taking some time today to reflect on all that God has done...
And all that He is yet to do.
"And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you,
as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'"

WILLOW'S PRECIOUS FINGER
The saddest thing happened to our little ray of sunshine this past week.
She broke her precious finger and had a very traumatizing experience in the ER, poor sweetie!!
(the next day with Daddy)
Willow is such a blessing in our family.
She daily lights up our world with joy!
To see her go through so much pain has been hard for this tender mama's
heart of mine and just makes me want to hug her that much tighter.
And cherish the simple things.
(...like books with big sisters)
(...or hunting for sea glass with my sidekick.)
Although it's been a rough moment for our precious Willow,
it's good see her feeling more like herself again with each healing day.
Willow, we all love you more than words can say...
And Jesus loves you even more than that!
"You are precious in my eyes."

PETRIFIED FOREST NATIONAL PARK
On our way to the Grand Canyon on our cross country trek last week,
we decided to stop at the Petrified Forest National Park.
We were SO glad that we did!
It was beautiful!
Brodie loved capturing the moments.
And as always, I loved watching him in his creative element.
We were fascinated by the wood turned stone.
