One of the things I really appreciate about our community is that the kids get to serve our neighbors.
They enjoy lending a hand to neighbors when needed as well as their weekly commitments to others.
And the favors are returned as we look out for one another with a common understanding.
This week, our neighbor is out of town, and Brodie and Elka have had lots of extra responsibilities.
Yesterday, they let me tag along and I can see that they're doing a great job and that they genuinely enjoy it.
I love that they can serve in these ways, and I'm thankful for our sweet community of neighbors.
