I didn't think we would ever make it back to Disneyland...
But when a sweet friend entered us in a contest for adoptive families, somehow the ministry chose us to win free tickets for the whole family! We were totally blown away and so thankful and honored. What a special gift!! What a special memory!!
We smashed on the tram and headed down Main Street.
And although it had been nearly a decade since we had last been...
Honestly, it felt like yesterday!
Willow loved the pretty pink castle on our way to our first stop...
The Teacups!
Oh the sights and sounds!
We held back tears through smiles and waves as we watched our gleaming kids beam with joy!
'Cause wasn't that little one Aida just yesterday??
It was definitely one of those moments.
After that, we skipped off to Small World...
A favorite for us all.
Next, we made our way over to the Matterhorn.
Which (almost) everyone loved!
We figured out quickly who the roller coaster fans are in the family on that one!
So, after that, I spent some special Mommy time with the non-roller coasterers while the others enjoyed a few!
We tried on hats and made memories of our own.
We enjoyed watching for and waving to the others on the rides!
The entire day was filled with flashbacks and fond memories.
Everyone had decided on hats for their souvenirs.
I loved it!
Memories, memories, memories...
Some of my favorite mama-memories of the day were the smiling faces running up to me after and on the rides!
Aw, I just loved watching them have so much fun!!
Mostly, I just loved being with my people.
(our special Small World moment)
(Nevermind that it broke down...I still cherish my memory with these 3!)
And no matter where we are, together is always my favorite!
And so the sun set on our wonderful day...
We filled it to the last with precious memories.
(Boden's favorite...The Rockets!)
(...and my little sidekick watched on.)
What a kind gift we all received, from generous people who wanted to bless.
And they did...
It was a day we will never forget and I'll cherish in my heart always.
Thank you to the One Life Project for your love for the Lord and for your generosity!
"It is more blessed to give than to receive."
