My farm girl has been waiting for her kids for months, checking her mama goats diligently.
And yesterday it finally happened!
We all went running outside to meet the new additions.
1 doe. 1 buck.
Looking just like their parents...SO precious!
They bonded well with their proud mama, Daffodil, Elka's first Nubian.
It was a really sweet moment.
There are few baby animals as fun to watch as goat kids, with their dancing and leaping and tumbling.
And Scout watched on as well, their designated guardian for now.
(SUCH a good boy!)
Aww, we're all so happy for Elka to finally have welcomed her first Nubian baby goats!
And there are more, Lord willing, yet to come...
