It's been a while since updating about Bea and Beck's hearts.

Mainly because it's been a while since their last cardiology visit.
But today was the day, and memories rush back.
I've always thought it's so sweet how fond they both are of their cardiology visits after all that they've both been through.
But, their doctors and nurses are so kind and always make them feel special, so they get to be at ease.
The report today was what we expected. Both Bea and Beck are doing well. They continue on their daily medications, and most likely always will. 2x/day for Bea. 3x/day for Beck. And they never complain about it. With Beck's corrections, he won't require any more major surgeries, though he does need a new Melody Valve which will happen sometime next year. For Bea, we've always known the day would come when she will require a heart transplant. Her cardiologist is always quick to assure us to simply enjoy...today. So we do. But that's still the same expectation for her, perhaps as an older teen, perhaps in her 20s. Time will tell. And we know the One who holds all these things in the palm of His hand.
