SHE HAS OUR NAME

To see our family's name on her passport is moving to say the least. She is our daughter. God has called us to her. Though joyful, my heart can't help but hurt to think of the loss she has already endured in her young life, but God has a plan and we're part of it. I pray we serve Him well in the task He has ordained for us.

So now we wait, yet again, for final arrangements and plans. We trust and prepare and pray and invest in our children's lives here...because their world is about to change too. They trust. We've prepared them as best as we can. They've prayed and prayed for their new siblings. And we hope their little love tanks are full.

We are all eager to pour into our new family members' lives. How blessed we feel to be at a new starting line. How blessed to know that God sees the finish lines of our lives. How blessed to have a new son and daughter to love. How blessed...they have our name.
