It was a special Valentine's Day this year after leading up these past two weeks to the actual LOVE Day.
We can all see that taking the time to be intentional to focus on what the Bible says about LOVE this
whole month has definitely influenced our hearts, thoughts, and actions. It's a tradition that will stick.
We had our usual heart shaped pink pancakes and pink milk for breakfast...and, when I found an after Christmas extra 50% off the clearance sale on PJs, I decided to go for my idea to start a new tradition of getting matching Valentine's Day jammies for the kids.
Officially one of my all time favorite Christmas traditions, I was thinking it could be a fun way for the
children to celebrate a special night on Valentine's Day too while Mom and Dad have a grown up date ourselves.
They LOVED it!!
(I love clean children in clean PJs...especially this bunch!)
I've always felt that just because we have a big family, that doesn't mean I can't take the time to make things extra special for each one. Every individual is deeply loved and cherished and my heart was full to write valentines expressing our adoration for them uniquely.
Each child is a precious best friend and we are extremely blessed to know every single one of them!

Traditions knit hearts to home and commemorate nostalgia.
They make people feel special and create memories worth keeping.

It was a sweet, simple day at home yesterday celebrating LOVE and Valentine's Day traditions.
