We celebrated Bea's 5th birthday this past week...her 1st birthday home with us.

To think of all that Bea has been through in the past year, it's actually quite incredible.
She moved from China to America, learned English, transitioned into our family, endured a major open heart surgery
with miracles included as we almost lost our girl not once but twice, and she has grown to know and love Jesus!
Bea is a very smart little girl. She has an extremely servant-hearted spirit, always willing and desiring to help. She is kind, sensitive, sweet, capable, tidy, joyful, expressive, communicative, thoughtful, mature, diligent, obedient, polite, intelligent in many different types of ways, gentle, an "old soul", and an all around special person. Bea is a gift from the Lord and we cherish her in our family!
