She's funny, happy, determined, chatty, and adjusting surprisingly well. She's a sister, a daughter. She's adored and cherished. She has a loving family according to God's perfect will. She's pure JOY!
We're praising God today together with my sister's amazing family as they have been united together with their little Joy. They say she is "precious, talkative, and comfortable with all of them." When I look at the photos of this innocent little child being welcomed by this incredible family, I can't help but burst with joy myself. I'm in awe of God's grace and compassion!
"God settles the solitary in a home."
Psalm 68:6
The Internet hasn't worked as well as they hoped, so communication has been slim. We managed to Skype this morning and we were grateful to hear that things are going extremely well! I'm not surprised. This family trusts the Lord in all things and they know that whatever comes their way, it's lovingly from Him.
I just LOVE seeing my sister with a stroller!! :)
Daddy's girl :)
Nova, Olia, and India have these jammies "twinsies" with Joy {along with one other special little someone too}.
I can't wait to see them all wearing them together!!
Apparently Joy is a funny little thing, the official greeting committee for all of China. :) She's social and fun and very well prepared for the transition she has begun. What a blessing! She seems to understand that this is her new family, but she couldn't possibly know yet just how immensely she's been blessed.
God has placed this little girl into an extraordinarily special home and as time goes on, I'm sure she will be thanking Him for choosing them for her. He loves Joy and He loves her family. Together, we praise the Lord for what He has done and look forward with great expectations to all that is yet to come...
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:3
