We finally did it. (Or, I should say, Aida finally did it.)
We (I mean, she) finally started our sourdough starter.
It's so easy that's it's had me feeling a little bit like, umm...what were we waiting for??
And oh wow it's so delicious that I'm thinking we will never stop feeding our new little "pet".
YUM...Sourdough!

SIMPLE SOURDOUGH RECIPE:
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp honey
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sourdough starter
1/2 cup lukewarm water
Combine all ingredients, mix, knead.
Let rise 1 hour.
Deflate dough and form baguette or place in greased loaf pan.
Let rise 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake 40-50 minutes.
