BY GOD'S GRACE, MAY OUR FAMILY TREE BEAR GOOD FRUIT AS WE GROW TO KNOW & LOVE HIM MORE EACH DAY.

HAPPY LOVE MONTH

It's been an odd sort of Love Month for us this year, with displacement our new normal at the moment.

But, WOW, it has been a special time!

It's been a season of rest and regrouping in the instruction of the Lord,

a season of reflection upon the past and the future,

 a season for relationships to bloom,

a season of focus upon and confidence in God's comforting, Fatherly LOVE for us,

a season of revamping our love for one another...

...and for others outside these walls we call home...for now.

We've celebrated.

We've played.

We've learned about LOVE, lessons worth learning again and again and again.

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters."
1 John 3:16

This refining is exactly why February makes me smile...

...and we even get an extra day this year!

In spite of uncertainties, there's a whole lot of LOVE & HAPPY going on around here...

...memories made in this time capsule.

With all this LOVE in the air, I've been handing out conversation hearts one by one, looking for just the right saying for each child,
each time, looking for words that build up. It's funny how something so very small can encourage in such a BIG way.

We ought never to underestimate the power of words, the power of showing LOVE. We've added to this affection on purpose...
Give a hug, kiss a small forehead, high five a sibling, smile! These things are good for the soul!

"A glad heart makes a happy face."
Proverbs 15:31

"Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body."
Proverbs 16:24

It has been a {HAPPY LOVE MONTH} indeed...and it's not over yet...

Lord, please teach us what you will about LOVE.

"Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing,
but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
